About Us:
We are Carey and Bonnie Samford. We both grew up in a small town in Texas near Dallas. We were married in 2001 and have four children. We took a short term mission trip to Tanzania in 2004. It was this trip that inspired us to become a full time missionary family. We made the move to Denver, Colorado to attend the Bear Valley Bible Institute, where afterwards we moved to Tanzania on January 1st, 2008 to begin our work as missionaries.
Living and Working in Tanzania:
We lived just outside of Arusha, Tanzania for 3 years before moving to another part of Tanzania, in the Iringa region. The town of Iringa is much smaller than Arusha, but it still has a large population, with lots of work to be done. The work consist of Evangelism, Edification, Church Growth, Teaching/Preaching, and Benevolence Outreach.
